A long time ago, at a horse barn far, far away a pair of blue herons flew overhead, about 10 feet overhead.
They were magnificent. Time stood still for a moment. It was breathtaking to be so close to such rare and beautiful
birds. The ornament does them justice, and every time it is placed on the tree it will bring back the memory of those birds. There are a few ornaments purchased this year for that purpose, to remember good times past in Christmases yet to come. They were purchased for my daughter, to make her smile and remember good times we have had together as this may be my last Christmas.
